I don’t know a single artist who likes to write a personal bio section to describe who they are, but there are a few things you should know about me. From memories gazing out on the ocean from the beach as a child, to hiking deep into the quiet spaces of nature botanizing wildflowers as a grown man, I have always found respite in the wild. But, mostly, I love to spend time in my high desert home with my husband and dogs. Having a pretty severe houseplant addiction in a small cabin caused me to get creative with space. When we ran out of surfaces for plants, I began mounting them on the wall! 

 

Zingiber Plant Mounts has evolved from this place of wanting to grow plants indoors and also add design elements to your home to elevate your space at the same time. Simplicity, sunsets, and 1970s supergraphics are just some of the influences I draw from, but as with all artists, I am ever-evolving.

Always catch me laughing at bad “dad jokes”, finding new puns, or coming up with the next best branding idea or band name. I love alliterations and allegory. I love friends and foes alike because I truly believe there is room for everyone to win in the short time we have to live our lives spinning around the Sun.
